We seek to prevent the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) and the Colorado General Assembly from reducing the contracted, annual 3.5% Cost-of-Living-Adjustment (3.25% for Denver Schools Division) of retiree benefits first through lobbying against Senate Bill 10-001, and then a through court action if that fails.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a growing group of PERA retirees and active employees from all PERA divisions who faithfully served, or are serving, the State of Colorado and our local communities. Many have served in leadership positions within our respective fields. Most must remain anonymous at this time for personal or job-related reasons.
